Been missing in action....because I have been busy barfing my brains out and gagging at the mere thought of food....infact these days the only thing I can handle is chewing gum...or a crazy random craving!

Planking

I don't practie yoga

I don't like fads

But when you put these 2 things together you have my new obsession..

PLANKING!

hahahahahahahahahahahaha

I literally almost fainted laughing so hard last night when the kids were spontaneously planking throughout the house.

And then I got an idea...Planking across America...and by across America I mean around the OC.

I challenged Jamas and the kids to plank anywhere and everywhere..and I will capture it on film.  And yes I expect Lil Mateo to plank as well...maybe with a lil help.

Too bad i can't due to the lil baby bump I am alreading sporting!

making the kids lunches because I don't feel good

HATING how I feel this 1st trimester..but LOVING the happiness it brings you to know it's because our family will soon be complete.

Crafty Time....1st Birthday Banner

Start off with a bundle of pictures of your cutie that depicts the entire year..4x6 prints

Glue them on a 5x7 piece of card stock to give a colorful and finished look

Using some vintage paper with your theme of choice...

Fold accordian style...

Draw out a triangle shape and cut...

You should be left with these beautiful pieces...

Hole punch the pictures and flags...

String them on any cute twine..string...or yarn....

And display on the BIG DAY!!!  This was the cutest decoration and it was nice so all the guests could enjoy and look back on how much our lil bear had grown!  a lot of work...but well worth it!  And it makes for a beautiful decoration afterwards...Johnny suggested hanging them in the MAN CAVE and it looks great!

Hot Air Balloon Party

Last month we celebrated our Lil Mateo's FIRST birthday...it was a perfect day...the weather (in my opinion) was perfect because there was a perfect light dusting of drizzle...the same as the very day he was born.  We designed the party around what Mateo LOVES which are BALLOONS and GLOBES...so we made it a Hot Air Balloon Party...Around The World for Our Mateo Bear!  Both Grandpa Doug and Grandma GIGI flew in just that morning to help celebrate this day...they are so amazing and full of love for all of our kids.  We had our amazing friends join us and Mateo was a happy boy!

I wish we could have these all the time...there were over 100 balloons out there!

The day couldn't have gone more perfect....I thank everyone who helped me..it was our family of friends who came together not just to celebrate Mateo...but to help make the day great.  EVERYONE wanted to help..Dolores, Nancy, Alyssa were my kitchen buddies....but the man that saved my day...and was so cute in the kitchen I could cry..was...GODDADDY WES...thank you so much! xoxo And Godmommy being the shutterbug she always is!  I love all of you guys!
